Five FREE Apps that helps to increase productivity.

Updated: Jul 19, 2022

Do you think you're not managing your time well? Do you feel as if your workload is piling up on you? Here are five apps I use to help me manage my time and stay organized.

1. Calendar’s App:

You must use the calendar app whether you are a salesperson, a manager, or a student. It is available on all platforms, including phones, desktop computers, and laptops, and it is simple to sync them. You can use the calendar app to plan your day. It will help you manage your time more effectively. You can create an event, customize its appearance, and add location and guest information. You can use the one that came with your phone or search the market for one.

2. To-Do List App:

A to-do list is necessary for writing down the tasks that must be completed during the day. You don't have to jot down every minor detail of the tasks you need to complete in a day. You can prioritize the tasks and then work your way through the list throughout the day. This way, you won't feel overwhelmed by the amount of work you have to do. You can use the time blocking technique in conjunction with a to-do list to help you set aside specific times to work on a specific task and reduce distractions.

3. Note-Taking App:

Have you ever had a great idea but were too busy with work to write it down and ended up forgetting about it? Yes, I agree. Fortunately for us, every phone on the market includes a note-taking app. And it goes without saying: whenever you have a great idea, write it down and come back to it later once you have time to work on it. You never know when inspiration will strike, but if it does, you can use the app to capture it.

4. Voice Memo App:

It is a very useful tool that you can use in a situation where you cannot write your thoughts down, and you want something quick. What you can do is use the voice memo app to record your thoughts. Once you have spare time later, you can come back to it to listen to it, and then write it down either in your to-do list or in your planner. The key is that you can capture those ideas and save them. It can be anything, such as an idea for a podcast or questions to ask in the next interview, or even the next holiday location.

5. MyMind App:

I know it's not a built-in app on any phone, but it's one of the best tools I've found for capturing thoughts and saving them for later. It is the app that helped me create a plan for starting this blog in the first place. This is how it works: When you come across something you want to remember, save it to your memory. There's no need to organize it because the app will do it for you, allowing you to quickly find what you need later. It is available in the App Store for iOS and Google Play, as well as through a web browser with a web browser extension.

In Conclusion:

These are tools, among many others, that you can use to manage time, stay on top of tasks, and capture brilliant ideas. There are numerous other tools available, and there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Continue to experiment to find out what works best for you. Don't hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any other apps that you find helpful. I'd be delighted to hear from you.
